The Company’s People and Culture team wins ‘HR Team of the Year’ and Mrs. Hanan Al Ali is named ‘HR Thought Leader of the Year’

Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC) has announced that it won two prestigious awards at the 18th Annual HRM Summit and Awards 2026, held on 13 and 14 October 2026 at the InterContinental Bahrain. The winners were honoured at the Gala Dinner, where the Company’s People and Culture team won the ‘HR Team of the Year’ award, while Mrs. Hanan Al Ali, the Company’s Chief People and Culture Officer, was named ‘HR Thought Leader of the Year.’

Organised by Roshcomm, the HRM Summit and Awards is regarded as one of the region’s most credible platforms dedicated to human capital. This year’s edition was held under the theme “Shaping the Future of Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” and featured more than 50 award categories judged by an independent panel.

The ‘HR Team of the Year’ award recognises the efforts of the Company’s People and Culture team, which has helped build an integrated framework for attracting, developing, and retaining talent while enhancing the employee experience and strengthening a sense of belonging. The team’s adaptability in the face of a changing work environment, and its effectiveness in delivering strategic initiatives as one team, were among the factors that set the Company’s entry apart before the judging panel. The ‘HR Strategic Thought Leader of the Year’ award recognises Mrs. Hanan Al Ali’s role in leading the strategic transformation of the People and Culture function, aligning human capital strategies with the Company’s corporate objectives, and embedding a work culture grounded in performance and empowerment.

On this occasion, Mrs. Hanan Al Ali, Chief People and Culture Officer at Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company, expressed her pride in the recognition, saying: “These two awards are a tribute to a collective journey driven by a team that believes people are at the heart of every corporate success. At BCFC, we will continue to invest in our national talent and their development, and cultivate a positive corporate culture built to adapt as the workplace evolves.”

This dual recognition reflects the Company’s firm belief that its national talent is the foremost pillar of success, in line with the Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
