IMTIAZ, the brand of Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company, has announced its strategic partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation to integrate charitable giving into the IMTIAZ loyalty programme. The partnership allows IMTIAZ cardholders to convert their loyalty points into charitable donations to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation through the Sahel app.
Through this partnership, IMTIAZ cardholders will have the opportunity to donate their accumulated loyalty points easily to support the charitable initiatives of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. This new feature enables cardholders to contribute to meaningful causes and make a positive difference in the community with every transaction.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Abdulla Abdulrazzaq Bukhowa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company, said: “We are honoured to cooperate with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, an institution devoted to humanitarian efforts and community care. Through this partnership, our valued customers will be able to turn their everyday spending into meaningful contributions that support those in need. This cooperation reflects our commitment to enabling IMTIAZ cardholders to give back to the community while enjoying the benefits of our loyalty programme. We believe that enabling charitable giving through IMTIAZ points will resonate deeply with our customers and strengthen our community contribution.”
For his part, the Acting Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Eng. Ebrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, praised the fruitful cooperation with BCFC through the launch of the initiative that allows the loyalty points of IMTIAZ cardholders to be allocated as donations supporting the Foundation’s projects and initiatives.
Al Dosari affirmed that this initiative is an effective model of community partnership between private sector institutions and the humanitarian work overseen by the Foundation, noting that giving IMTIAZ cardholders the opportunity to convert their points into donations helps strengthen a culture of giving and entrench the concept of social responsibility, with a positive effect on the sustainability of the programmes and projects the Foundation carries out for the benefit of the people it serves.
He added that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation is keen to build strategic partnerships with the various national bodies, helping to diversify sources of support and develop innovative mechanisms that enable members of the community to contribute to charitable work in easy and secure ways, and he valued the national role BCFC plays in supporting humanitarian and development initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
